Most insurance companies offer Chiropractic benefits due to studies showing the efficacy of Chiropractic Care in treating a variety of health conditions. Dealing with insurance can be complicated and confusing at best. Our office provides insurance verification to determine if you have Chiropractic benefits and what portion of your care the insurance company will cover. Or if you prefer just simply call the customer service number on your card and ask the representative if your insurance plan covers chiropractic care.
Few health insurance companies require Chiropractors to be on their insurance panels in order for your treatment to be covered. Although, many insurances give slightly better coverage when Chiropractors are on their panels. This means you pay less for your treatment. The list below contains all the insurance panels Dr. Matthew Todd is currently on. Do not worry if you don’t see your insurance company on the list because often health insurances do not require Chiropractors to be on their panels in order for your treatment to be covered. You and your insurance company have an agreement that sometimes does not cover the best-prescribed treatments. Insurance companies don’t base your benefits on what you need; they base it on what payout they can profitably provide based on how much you or your employer has paid them.
If your insurance company rejects a claim and refuses to pay for a service, it is not a reflection of how important the service is. It is based on a master contract drawn up between you or your employer and the insurance company. However, you will be happy to know that chiropractic care can be affordable. We offer a 40% discount to patients who pay with cash, check, or credit. This discount is only available if payment is received on the same day the service/treatment is rendered.
